Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Velovia uses on the marketing website at velovia.ai and the application at app.velovia.ai, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. Cookies can be “first party” (set by Velovia) or “third party” (set by a service we embed). They can be “session” cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies that remain for a set duration.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies. Set on app.velovia.ai by Supabase to keep you authenticated after you log in, and by our own servers to hold CSRF tokens and session preferences. These cookies are required for the app to work. They do not require your consent. Typical duration: session to 30 days.

Performance and analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to measure aggregated usage of the marketing site and the app (page views, visits, performance metrics). Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-preserving: it does not use third-party cookies and does not build cross-site profiles of you. Where applicable law requires consent for analytics, we will ask for it before these measurements start.

Error tracking. When a client-side error occurs in the app, our Sentry integration sends diagnostic information (URL, browser, stack trace) so we can fix the problem. This relies on a small amount of data stored in memory rather than persistent cookies.

We do not set advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting pixels, and we do not sell browsing data.

3. How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will log you out and prevent app.velovia.ai from functioning correctly. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal and Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honour GPC where applicable law requires it.

4. Changes

We will update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies or analytics providers. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.
